McKamey Animal Center helps hurricane victims

Did you know McKamey Animal Center has made multiple trips to rescue animals in need of shelter from Hurricanes Irma and Harvey? Despite an already busy season for sheltering animals, we knew we needed to step in. We are reaching out to you to support our efforts to raise funds for these animals by sponsoring our Barktober Fest and Meowlloween Party on October 21st.

Besides helping animals from these tragic hurricanes, depending on the sponsorship level, you will also receive a number of other benefits including:
  • Mentioning your support on our Facebook page (reaching over 23K fans!)
  • Logo on the back of the event t-shirts
  • Link to your website on our event page
  • 10×10 vendor booth at the event
  • Mentioned in email blasts
  • VIP tickets to attend the event, and more!
Support local efforts to minimize the suffering of Hurricanes Irma and Harvey; In exchange we will use our resources to spread the word to our community about your business’s willingness to help. Please send me your logo to reserve your spot on our marketing material!

Best Sanitation Practices

Just need to get a number interested in attending so I know what size room to get. Contact Humane Society of Northwest Georgia.

Bob Citrullo, Executive Director of  HES is willing to come to Dalton to give a free Sanitation Workshop.  He travels around the country as a consultant to give these and this is a great opportunity for other rescues to learn.  The HSNWGA is hosting this as well as the Whitfield County Animal Shelter.

It is scheduled for Thursday Sept 28 from 930 to 1100.  I need to get an idea of how many will attend so I know how big of a room to get.  Please reach out to your local rescue contacts.  I think this might also be a good time to network and get to know each other and exchange contact information
